An American officer revisits Cambodia to seek relief from lifelong nightmares, and to face the ghosts of savage combat experiences while assigned to an elite American logistics team whose mission was to assist the Pro-American Cambodian regime in the early 1970s.

Ed Mooney is a Montana native. As part of his Army career, he served a year in Cambodia with MEDTC. He retired from the Army in 1989.

In his second career, Mr. Mooney was a senior executive at both IBM and Lockheed Martin Federal Systems Companies. Retiring from Lockheed Martin in 2001, Mr. Mooney then served as Chief Operating Officer of a mid-sized IT firm supporting the Defense Department in the Washington D.C. area until 2005. Since that time, Mr. Mooney has been an executive consultant.

Mr. Mooney and his devoted wife of 45 years, Peggy Lee, recently began an extended tour of South America. They are using Cuenca, Ecuador, as their base.
