The Dog Ear Publishing CARES program
(Creating Awareness for Responsibility, Education, and Sustainability)

We take great care in the choice we make about how we produce each of our books - ensuring that our choice in paper provides the highest quality in addition to being sound for the environment.

All of us at Dog Ear Publishing believe in giving back to the communities and organizations that are working diligently to make our world a better, safer, and healthier place. To that end, we focus our corporate philanthropic efforts in 3 main areas:

1) Responsibility - building and empowering communities to control their destinies and create environments in which children and adults may grow and thrive.

2) Education - using the tools and resources that we control to increase literacy rates within the United States and provide quality reading materials to children. Our primary partner for these efforts is RIF - Reading is Fundamental.

3) Sustainability - conduct our operations and build our products in such a manner as to intelligently utilize the resources of our planet. Our goal is to focus on reducing our imprint -both in carbon and in the raw materials used to produce our books.
