mice to children. Illustrated in lively, colorful
images, the book chronicles the tale of Scooter,
the Purple Mogul Mouse. Scooter is a fluffy tailed,
purple mouse who lives with his friends inside the
moguls on ski trails throughout the world.
When skiers try to ski in Mogul City causing Scooter,
his friends and relatives to fall out of bed, their
dishes to crash to the floor, the adventure begins
with Scooter and his friends giving chase to unsuspecting
skiers who all of a sudden find themselves upside
down, in piles of snow, landing on their heads.
Young readers are introduced to mouse friends such
as Giggles, K-K-Katie and Willie the Mesa Mouse,
who lives in the warm south, far from the icy slopes.
Newman’s rhyming story promises
great reading fun for imaginative children and families.
