Saa M. McCarthy is a native born of Liberia,
West Africa, a nation that has been devastated by 2 decades of
civil warfare that resulted in the deaths of an estimated 300,000
civilians. Born on July 08, 1972, Saa is one of eight children.
His family was caught in the middle of the brutal civil war, but
was spared by the grace of God. As a result of the war in his
country, his education and livelihood came to a screeching halt,
and life turned into misery and despair.
When the situation grew hopeless and endless, then the Lord,
the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, intervene through an amazing
web of interconnecting events that is akin to His handiwork. This
is not all, as you will read from this captivating story.
Through the blessings of the Lord Most High, Jesus Christ, Saa
was given a scholarship to attend the University of Wisconsin,
Platteville by a highly unlikely source in 1995. He graduated
in 3 years and earned a bachelors of science in Accounting. A
Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Saa is happily married
and has been blessed with 4 beautiful children (3 boys and a girl-Faith).
